  1. Morena Miss McCombie,
I like how you made all the names clear and sectioned them off per animal, it made it very easy to read.
Most of the names seem very unusual, also I saw that some can refer to other objects or names too, like a pen which can be either a female swan or a small slim object that holds ink, that you write with.
My 2 favourite names are a gosling and a drake. What is yours?
A baby female chicken is a pullet.
An older female chicken is a hen (they have either started laying eggs or more than a year old when they are named/classified a hen)
An immature/baby male chicken is a cockerel.
An older male chicken is a rooster.
My favourite name of the chickens is a pullet because it makes sense with the name as the chicken is small and I refer to a pullet to be a small object like a pallet.
What is your favourite chicken name?

    1. Hi Zara,
Thank you for your lovely comment on the layout on my post.
I do also think there are some usual names as we link them to other things, like you said to a pen.
I like the name rooster the best. We used to have a rooster in Scotland called Larry. He was meant to be a hen (female) but when he grew older it turned out that he was a rooster (male). Mum got a bit of a shock.
Did you know a baby Alpaca is called a cria?
      Have a great day!
      Miss McCombie
