Gynmastics

What do you know about Gymnastics?
We have been learning about different aspects.
On Monday we were learning about different types of rolls. The important thing that was mentioned was to tuck our chins in.
Here are examples of the rolls.

STEPs: online Literacy

Our lockdown came as a bit of a shock but we were fortunate to get access to Steps web as a trial for our school to help support our tamariki with their Literacy. Steps focuses on literacy as a whole with reading, comprehension, phonics, blending, sentence structures to name a few skills it enhances.
Lately, these are the children to have achieved completing a level or 2 (some have completed 3 levels!!!)
Have you tried Steps web before? What do you think of it? Have you got a favourite activity?

Slow Cooker Mac'n'Cheese

Roll up, Roll up!
Who's a Mac'n'Cheese love? I know I certainly am!
Today, we prepared Mac'n'Cheese for the class. I organised a select few children to help prepare and I served it to those children who wanted to try some. Definitely an overall hit. We discussed a few changes we would make - adding bacon, more seasoning needed, and some fresh chopped tomato on top.
Have you ever tried making this before? If so, what was your recipe?
