16,000 Steps

Yesterday I walked a total of 16,902 steps by the time I went to bed. I took Nala for a short walk in the morning to get some fresh air then a longer walk in the evening to stretch the legs after work and before dinner. I definitely feel grateful for the area I live in during Isolation because I have the opportunity to take a number of routes for a walk.
What have you been doing for exercise and fitness?

  1. Wow Miss McCombie, that’s a lot of steps. I bet your legs were tired that day. Nala is very lucky being able to go on long walks with you. Our dog Rocky is loving all the extra walks he is getting. For our exercise we sometimes do family yoga or a family bike ride. We like to ride somewhere, have a snack and then come home. The food is a good incentive. I’d love to see the sights you see when you are walking.

  2. Kia ora Miss McCombie,
16,000 steps, wow, that is heaps! I always love going a different route as often as I can, because I find it gets quite boring seeing the same houses and trees. In the week I usually go for a short bike ride, walk or scooter ride because we have limited time. On the weekends we do longer fitness hours as more time is free. My favourite exercise would be scootering, though biking is up there too. What exercise do you like the best? A long bike ride for us would be 12 km and a short would be 5-7 km. When we walk it is no shorter than 40 minutes and when I scooter is varies from 7 km to 3 km. How far do you walk for?
