Kia ora!

So I’ve been thinking a lot recently about our isolation period and I want to set myself some goals.
I have purchased a FitBit Versa 2 with my birthday money and want to achieve 10,000 steps a day during this time. Do you think I can do it?

Goals help you focus of something and to me my health is the most important thing at the moment. I plan to walk Nala once a day and obviously keep the ‘social distancing’ rule of 2m if I come across someone on the walk. We are lucky to live beside the ‘Red Zone’ in Christchurch. Sene and I will both be working from home so this goal will definitely help us to get fresh air.

What are your goals for the near future? Who will help you with your goals?

    1. Po Marie Mrs Bibby,
I love it so far and the range of colours are fabulous.
Shall we all each other on Fitbit when you get yours?
I'm getting ready for my workout in the garden tomorrow.

    1. Kia ora Mrs J,
Thank you for your follow on my Blog. I am excited to share what I have been up to given the circumstances in New Zealand.
I ended up getting the Rose Gold & Purple Fitbit (same as yours?) as the turquoise strap wasn't available!
I look forward to seeing your blog posts with James.
      Have a good day!

  3. Hi Miss McCombie,
I think you will be able to reach your goal as you already are fit.
Some of my goals are competing on all your posts so that i get better being in isolation, finish harry Potter 6 and maybe 7.
I found it hard and a bit confusing when you had to stay away when passing someone on the footpath!
    Enjoy walking Nala,
    Zara

    1. Hi Zara I agree keeping 2m distance does seem strange right now but I am sure we will get used to it. James and I had to cross the road to avoid someone yesterday as they were standing at the end of their driveway talking on their phone. I felt rude but it is our new normal. where did you walk and who were you with?
If you want to check our my daily blog here is the link https://mrsjtoday.blogspot.com/ I know what a great blogger you are!

    2. Kia ora Zara,
Thank you for the compliment! I want to get fitter over the isolation period. What are you doing to do to keep active?
What a great target to have! I believe you will finish Harry Potter 7!!
I think it is weird for people who are usually sociable.
I look forward to reading you Blog posts too!
      Have a great day!

  4. This is awesome, Miss McCombie. I think you will be able to reach your goal of 10, 000 steps but it will be a challenge - we have to make so may adaptations right now to fit the new normal. Let's challenge each other on FitBit so we can help one another stay fit during isolation. Xxx
