Food Glorious Food

If you know me...I love food! If you don't know me...I love food!

Check out my lockdown creations so far. I use my own recipes and often "add things" while I'm cooking. I love spicy Mexican food. What is your favourite cuisine and why?

I hope this gives you some inspiration to get into the kitchen and cook up something delicious.

  1. Kia Ora Miss McCombie,
You could start up a restaurant! Those foods actually look better than at some restaurants. I love how the feta is sprinkled over with the tomato and avocado. I have never tried scrambled eggs and avocado together. I have scrambled eggs (with coconut cream, legendary) and guacamole, but not together. Dad makes fluffy pancakes on special occasions, his pancakes are super fluffy. What is the tan colour substance on top of the pancakes? Is it cream?
Even though the avocado's are cheap, I find that they are not tasting great as they have stringy bits in them. Maybe it is where we shop but they are just not the same to the Summer in season avocado's.
My favourite cuisine at home would be Mexican, we eat a lot of Mexican! Every week we go through a packet of wraps. I do like other cuisines too, but I usually like them better at a restaurant as they know the techniques to making it delicious.
Which has been your favourite so far?

    1. Kia ora Zara,
Thank you for your comment on my Blog. It is great to see your reading them.
I do like the sound of fluffy pancakes...does he have a secret recipe? On top of the pancakes it is maple syrup. It is sublime with bacon!
I totally agree with you in regards to avocados. The depth of flavour in the summer is something else. In winter I always have to add a pinch of salt to bring out the flavour.
I must say the bacon and feta pizza was the best. I make the dough out of SR Flour, margarine, oil, salt&pepper and a splash of milk.
      Stay safe,
      Miss McCombie
