Slow Cooker Mac'n'Cheese

Roll up, Roll up!
Who's a Mac'n'Cheese love? I know I certainly am!
Today, we prepared Mac'n'Cheese for the class. I organised a select few children to help prepare and I served it to those children who wanted to try some. Definitely an overall hit. We discussed a few changes we would make - adding bacon, more seasoning needed, and some fresh chopped tomato on top.
Have you ever tried making this before? If so, what was your recipe?

  1. Hello Ms. McCombies class! Mr. Niks from Glen Taylor School here - it's good to finally be able to communicate through our blogs!

We had a very similar activity at school for our Samoan Language Week and after we created our recipes, we had the chance to cook a couple of different different recipes including the Samoan Koko Alaisa dish. It was delicious! Have any of you tried to cook your Mac N Cheese?

    Take care!

    1. Kia ora Mr Mikiforuk,
Finally we can connect! Sorry about the miscommunication about my previous Blog.
For Samoan Language Week my partner (who is Samoan) made pani popo for the Syndicate to taste - what a hit!! They are asking when we can next made them ourselves. I made the kids Chop Suey.
Our mac and cheese in the crock pot was a great success although next time I think we needed to leave it longer to thicken up. We try to make something in the crock pot weekly.
Do you do much cooking with the class?
